Chianti is undoubtedly the quintessential Tuscan wine. Born in the 1300's as a young wine to accompany charcuterie and grilled meats, Chianti has become the everyday wine on many Tuscan tables because of its versatility and delicious red fruit bouquet.

Pairing - Tomato based dishes including pizza. Ideal companion for a charcuterie and pecorino cheese board.

Tasting Notes - Dried herbs, sour cherry, plum and a classic Sangiovese "leathery" flavour. Medium body with smooth tannins and fresh acidity.
